Sunday my two wonderful sisters and two of my best friends hosted an incredibly lovely and fun baby shower. Everything from the food to the decorations to the company was fabulous. The shower was held at Kim's house and it couldn't have been cuter. There were baby pictures of both Andy and I strung in the food room, diapers for late night messaging, "A" bright colored connie's cookies and an adorable diaper cake. Pink polka-dotted letters draped Annabelle across the mantel and fresh flowers everywhere. They really did an amazing job and it was such a memorable, fun day. Getting actual baby gifts was so surreal. I think I knew what to do with 80% of them, but looked at some and questioned, now what do I need to do with this again? Annabelle got so many wonderful things and definitley increased her wardrobe. Before the start of present opening we played a little game, or video I should say, that consisted of a pre-recorded session with Andy answering some questions about Annabelle's arrival. It was so cute to hear his answers and see what he had to say. You could tell by some of his rather long-winded responses that he so thrilled to be a dad and loves her so much.
It's so amazing how many friends and family came to show their love and support. She's going to be one lucky girl! Here are some pictures of the wonderful day and thanks for making the day so very special!!
Yes a lot of belly holding, but it's getting so big, it's hard not to touch it.
Since present opening was not fun for the young ones, the little squirts enjoyed the gorgeous day running around in the leaves. I love to think 3 years from now our little one will be able to join in the cousin fun!!
