Last Friday we got the amazing opportunity to see our little one in 3D. We had debated whether or not to get a 3D ultrasound early on, but then decided we could not resist the urge to see her. So we scheduled our ultrasound about a month ago and had weeks to look forward to it. And it was so worth it!! I took off Friday to go shopping at the Holiday Mart and scheduled the appointment for 5:00, so Andy and the working crew could join. Prior to the appointment I was told to have a full meal and caffeine. So, after a long day of shopping I got a bagel and Dr. Pepper right before the appointment. I was super excited about seeing her, but also was a little concerned hoping everything was going to be okay. I chugged the Dr. Pepper, literally, and next thing I knew we were all sitting in the room, me on the table and two 40" flat screen TVs in front of the family.
Next came the most incredible sight ever, our little Annabelle. The photos were absolutely amazing and the sonogramer was wonderful. Annabelle would not stop moving around. I was a little afraid that after being on my feet all day that she would be wiped, but our little wiggle worm was moving from head to toe. The sonogramer said she hadn't seen such an active baby in a long time. She kept putting her hands on her face and even posed at one point with her hand on her forehead, like she had gone through such an exhausting day.
I think the whole family enjoyed seeing the little miracle growing in my tummy and so glad we got to share this special moment with them. It was so amazing to see our little girl and it was an experience I will ALWAYS remember.
One of the best days ever!
