Third trimester here we come! I cannot believe we are entering the final stretch! As long as I feel like I've been pregnant, I also cannot believe that she will be here in 12 weeks. And how much we still have to do in those 12 weeks to get the nursery ready for her arrival.
Once we got her bedding ordered I spent days trying to find the various fabrics online. We have a rocker that we want to recover, so I needed the fabric from her bed to match the rocker. After ordering online from 3 different places, all the fabric should be in mid-week. I cannot wait to get it and take the furniture in to be recovered. Here's a glance at her fabric swatches:
Instead of buying baby furniture we bought an old Thomasville dresser that we are going to turn into her changing table. Andy sanded and primed it this past weekend and my mom is going to paint it and stain it. We still need to pick out the paint color, but am hoping to make some progress on the nursery walls and her dresser this weekend.
I am also going to have Sharon make her some curtains out of the same bedding/rocker fabric. I love that I have such crafty mother and mother-in-laws. Thanks for the help :)
As for the little one she is getting stronger and stronger. Her kicks have turned more into rolls and I am feeling them super low and super high at the same time. I told Andy last night that I thought she was doing somersaults. No kidding this child likes to move. We scheduled our 3D ultrasound for next Friday, October 21st and I can hardly wait. I already got my packet in the mail with the instructions and what to expect. As excited as I am, I too pray that she is healthy and everything looks normal.
