Dr. Appt and Halloween!

We are in the single digit count down!  Baby could be here in 63 days...which is no time at all.  Monday I had my two week doctor's appointment and all was well.  This was the first appointment I went to by myself, but always love getting that time with Dr. Galvin, so was excited to discuss the past two weeks activities.  She said the baby was measuring right on and had me feel her head.  Because she is head down I was able to feel both sides of her head...it was pretty crazy.  She said that I would be becoming very uncomfortable over the last 9 weeks and to take extra care of myself.  We will still be doing the ultrasound at 36 weeks to make sure my placenta is out of the way.  I had gained 4 pounds in 2 weeks.  What the heck??  But she said my overall weight gain was on track and not to be concerned.  I feel like the past two to three weeks I have definitely grown...outward.  I am really looking forward to wearing normal clothes again :)  She asked what my ideal day would  be for Annabelle to arrive.  I responded, do you want my answer or my husbands?  She laughed knowing Andy would want the 2011 tax break.  She said she would rather not induce because odds of c-section in first time labor are higher, but would address if need be for any medicial reasons.  And she would let me go max 1 week after my due date.  So all-in-all it was a productive appointment and I look forward to going  back on the 14th!
