I am starting to get really excited and random waves of anxiety. I think knowing that in a few weeks she could really come at any time is starting to sink in. We got her bedding delivered on Friday night and it is ADORABLE! It turned out so well and looks so cute. I felt so much better once we got that set up and a few more things from the shower this past weekend. The anticipation of not knowing when exactly she'll come is so hard.
This week's appointment went well. She is measuring right on, good blood pressure, normal weight gain and all was well. Next appointment I will get checked for strep and then start going every week. Andy has not been able to come the past two times, so fortunately my mom has come along. But now that the time is getting near and Dr. Galvin has started discussing her arrival, Andy is bound to convince her to get Annabelle out in 2011. I told the doctor his plan this week and she laughed and said, "We'll have to see if she's a daddy's girl." Her movements continue to be frequent and super strong. I did experience some contractions the other night, which is common at this stage. My doctor said it was a good sign and that my body is preparing for delivery. The other morning I was getting ready and just watched my stomach in the mirror roll from side to side. It's such an amazing, beautiful sight.
Cannot wait to meet our little bundle of joy!
