34 weeks and Turkey Day!

34 Weeks and Turkey Day!
This week we are in our 34th week.  Definitely feel like she is getting bigger and room is running out.  She is quite the mover and her movements are so strong it almost takes my breath away some times.  Fortunately both Andy and my offices close early Wednesday, so we will be able to have a nice long holiday weekend.  We have a list of things to get done in preparation for Annabelle and decided we would knock it all out this weekend.  Fortunately we received so many wonderful gifts along the way, that we only have a few big items left to buy!  Our plan is to hit up BuyBuyBaby this weekend and get the rest of our registry items.  My acid reflux has been in full force.  Not only am I waking up every hour to hour and half to use the restroom, I have found myself popping a Tum in the middle of the  night too.  It is so intense and feels like a pool of acid is just sitting in my throat.  The whole sleeping sitting up thing isn’t as easy or comfortable J  Other than that, I still feel pretty good.  By the end of the day my back kills, but am still trying to keep busy and not let it slow me down too much.

This week she is about 5 pounds and 18 inches long.  Her fat layers – which she'll need to regulate her body temperature once she's born – are filling her out, making her rounder. Her skin is also smoother than ever. Her central nervous system is maturing and her lungs are continuing to mature as well.

Yes, I have grown…all over  (Here's a photo of Andy and I down at the Plaza Lights Thanksgiving Night.  After breakfast with The Nielsen's, lunch/early dinner with my family, we headed down to the lights.  It was a beautiful night and so fun to be down in the excitement of the Christmas season.  Fortunately for us, we got to watch them from a prime location, Paul's balcony, and was accompanied by family and friends):
