Ultrasound and Plan

We got to visit Sherry again this morning to check on the little one's size.  She came in at 9 lbs. 2 oz. and Sherry thought her measurements were pretty spot on.  We then met with Dr. Galvin who asked what we wanted to do.  Knowing she was going to be a big baby and not wanting me to go full-term, in hopes for me to deliver "V" and not a c-section, we decided we would induce one week early...next Monday.  I was dilated to a 2 and my cervix was thinning out.  I knew going into this appointment that we would most likely discuss induction, but seeing that it was Friday, we didn't have much time to process it.  So we left the hospital with directions to report to St. Luke's Monday night at 9:30.  They would start cervadil and then pitocin in the morning. Andy was grinning ear-to-ear...baby was coming in 2011!
