We decided on her name awhile ago, of which many of you know, but thought I'd name this post her official name. The day we were going in for our sonogram to find out the gender of our baby Andy and I were sitting in Starbucks discussing names. All along we had said if we had a boy we would name him William Jackson. For some reason that week the name just didn't sound as right. I absolutely loved the name Annabelle, but thought it was a boy, so didn't let my heart get set on that. As we were discussing we both agreed 100% if it was a girl we would name her Annabelle. We loved it and thought it would be so fitting for her. For a few weeks after finding out I tried to think of every other girl name because I didn't think we could really have settled on a name this soon, but nothing compared in our eyes, so we knew it was meant to be. A lot of people choose to keep their babies name quiet before delivery, but since we both agreed and loved the name we decided to share with family and friends. And I love calling her by name...I think she knows it by now :)
We are beginning our 6th month! I love that the weather is changing and fall is in sight. Since Andy has been gone I've been busy organizing and got about half of Annabelle's clothes washed and hung. Here's a glimpse of her closet compliments of hammy downs and some fun gifts along the way.
I purchased a pregnancy pillow this weekend and it's wonderful. I was finding myself waking up in the middle of the night on my back, which I guess you aren't supposed to do, so decided to get a pillow for support. Now that my tum is growing and getting harder, it's becoming more difficult to sleep. I opted for the Boppy half pillow and love it!
So looking forward to Andy's return home Wednesday and our doctor's appointment Monday!
