Mom and Dad take a Vaca

For our anniversary Andy and I took a long weekend to Cabo San Lucas.  This was the longest time we had been away from Annabelle, but had such a wonderful time together.  Fortunately our families were able to split the time we were away watching her and knowing she was in great hands allowed us to relax.  We debated on if we should bring her with us or not, but knew the relaxation we were looking for would not be achieved if she was with us.  I think if she was a year older we would have, but she's at such an active, still dependent stage that we would have to be hands on...all the time.

I think the entire time we talked about her, looked through pictures and watched videos we had on our phones, but truly enjoyed our time together.  It's amazing once you have children how little time you have to yourselves, so was so glad we were able to step away from work and the craziness back home and focus on each other.  We got to FaceTime every day and talk on Andy's phone, so still got to see her a couple times a day, which made the time away more manageable.

We missed our little stinker like crazy and were SOOO excited to get home and see her.  Thank you so much to our families for watching her and allowing us to get away.
