11 Months Old

Can’t believe we are 1 month away from being 1 years old.  This month was filled with lots of moving and getting into things.  We are so explorative and inquisitive about any and all things.  Showers in the morning are getting harder and quicker, as she is into everything!  One day I found her under Andy’s sink, full body in the cabinet.
We are walking a lot, but still not a pro at it.  She likes to be on her two feet, but knows she can get places quicker if she crawls, so still teeter between the two.  She LOVES the stairs and would climb them all day long if it wasn’t such a safety hazard.  She knows she is not supposed to play on them, so will take off if you aren’t looking and throw herself on them just as you come around the corner to find her.

We are in 18 month clothing and they seem to fit pretty well.  Some of her pants are too long, but they fit perfectly around her belly and booty.  I think we are about 23 lbs??  I can tell she is getting taller as items left on the counters edges are getting pulled down J

We moved rooms at school, so are down to one nap a day.  Some days she still takes two, but for the most part is down after lunch for a couple hours!  School is still going well.  She seems to like playing with the kids all day and is definitely learning a lot.  It’s amazing how much her communication has been changing recently.

We are still on bottles and have one in the morning, two during the day and another  before bedtime.  We have tried introducing more people food, but she still is so odd about textures.  We love waffles for breakfast and any kind of cracker like food.  We haven’t found much that she does not like, other than the textures of particular foods.  We have been trying new foods, trying to keep a balanced diet, but needing to get more creative with her options.

We are sleeping great through the night.  Going down about 7:30 and waking about 6:30ish.  A couple nights she has woke up in the middle of the night, but fortunately been able to get herself quickly back down.  Those nights are so difficult because all I want to do it get her and have her come sleep with us, but try to let her go back down in her crib.  For the most part she quickly goes back down and if she continues her standing and throwing herself down, we’ll go get her ;)

She continues to amaze us each and every day.
