Annabelle's 9 month Dr. Appt.

Friday we had her 9 month doctor’s appointment.  I had scheduled it on Friday afternoon so both Andy and I could attend.  It’s funny how much you look forward to the appointments and anticipate all the new things the doctor will tell you and what milestones you will discuss.  15 minutes before I was supposed to leave to get her from school, I got pulled into a work meeting that I could not get out of.  So Andy and Annabelle went alone.  I always keep a list of questions in my phone, so had to email Andy all the questions for him to ask.  I was sitting at work tears streaming down my face as I emailed him.  I hated to miss out and not be there with them,  but I survived and so did they and yes, it was not that big of a deal!

Here are the highlights from the visit:
-          She can eat just about anything now.  We can introduce almost all foods to her and slowly start widening her pallet
-          She is in the 95% for weight 22-1/2 pounds and 50% for height
-          She got a flu shot (When the nurse came in to administer the shot she had to leave the room and get a bigger needle b/c Annabelle’s thighs were larger than she expected J)
-          We can start giving her snacks in addition to her 3 full meals
-          We will continue to give her formula until 1 year and then switch her to milk
-          Child proof everything!!
-          Her ears looked good!  Thank God.
-          When Annabelle smiled Dr. Espe said he saw her mama in her (I rarely get that, so that made my day!)
