Knox is born

Friday night we went to the hospital to visit Knox.  One of my BFFs Kristi welcomed her son into the world, so we went to meet the little guy.  Unfortunately he is in the NICU, with respiratory problems, so we were not able to have AB and  him meet, but know they will love each other once he’s out.  Walking through the NICU was a pretty surreal experience.  It struck very close to home and made me feel extremely blessed to have had AB born with no complications.  The parents I saw standing over their babies attached to monitors just broke my heart.  You go through months of carrying a child to only want to hold them and love on them and some are not given that immediate opportunity.  It’s a small thing, but an incredible thing and my prayers go out to those families up there and their little ones.  We are so excited for Kristi and Heath and cannot wait to have our kids ones close in age.  They are bound to be buds…maybe even BF/GF!
After leaving the hospital I could not get to Annabelle fast enough.  It had been a long week and after seeing the other babies, I wanted nothing more than to hold her and kiss her.  When we got home got home we walked in to this...just melts my heart!
