Today we had our 20 week appointment (although we are in our 21st week) and it was great. Andy was unable to come with me, so Lizzie offered and provided my support. It was fun to have her along and I know she enjoyed the memories it brought back. The doctor said little miss was weighing in at 1 pound and about 10 inches long. Her heartbeat was music to my hears. I did learn today that my sonogram showed that I have a low lying placenta, so we will be doing another sonogram at 36 weeks to see if it has moved. I asked if that meant I would need a c-section and she said no, so hopefully it will move out of the way :)
I have been feeling better and still taking one day at a time. My evenings are still the roughest, but can gladly say I have not got sick in one week, so fingers crossed the end is near. This past weekend was the first weekend Andy and I have been home or not had a wedding, shower or big event this summer. We went and looked for baby furniture, did some nesting and tried to think about all the things we need for our upcoming arrival. Here's a glance at her crib (compliments of Mom/Dad and Avery of course):
Pregnancy Moment of the Week: I have been feeling her move a lot the past week, especially in the night times. I think once I finally sit down and put my feet up, she is relieved and moves to get herself situated. Saturday night we had friends over and were getting in bed and I felt her moving, so had Andy put his hand on my stomach and he got to feel her. She's not strong enough to kick and have outward movement, but you can definitely feel the movement inside!
My cousin Beth called Saturday to tell me about a song I should listen to and thankfully I waited until Sunday night to listen to it, as I sat and cried my eyes out. It is about being pregnant with a baby girl and such a beautiful song about your love (a must listen to for mom's of girls)! Colbie Caillat - Capri
