Boxes, boxes and more boxes

Thursday and Friday the moving company came in and packed us up.  We had been running wild the past month so didn't have a lot of time to think about the move or prepare.  Because we were being moved by the moving company there was not a lot to pack and prep for, as they would handle all the packing and loading of our home. 

Thursday morning came and they started packing up everything.  It was so sad to see the walls slowly become bare and our home being packed away in cardboard boxes.  We had to identify what items we wanted in storage, verse what items we needed moved to my parents, verse what we wanted to take to Portugal with us.  The organization of the 3 "locations" was the most stressful of the move, as we had to think through what we would need over the next 18 months.  Having never moved with an actual moving company before, the process was so smooth and we literally just had to answer questions while they did everything.

Moving out of our house was very bittersweet.  We bought that house 2-1/2 years ago thinking we would raise our family and spend many years there.  We have had so many wonderful memories and will always remember bringing Annabelle home there.  It was such a great house and one we will always remember.
