Some highlights of the month:
- We moved, so that messed up her sleeping schedule somewhat. She found that being at honeys meant spending a lot more time with Avery. She absolutely LOVES LOVES her cousins and will do anything Avery does. It's so cute to watch her look up to Avery and mimic what she does.
- Food - she is becoming a better eater, although we tend to stick to the basics. Chicken nuggets, grilled cheese, peanut butter, any and all fruits, applesauce. At school they said she eats ravioli, but we have yet to succeed with any pasta dish.
- She is wearing size 7.5 shoes and 2T clothes. Most all her 12-18 month clothes are way too tight and even some 18-24 don't fit her.
- Vocabulary - she is such a talker and learning to say new words daily. I call her our little parrot because she will try to repeat anything you say. And yes we said our official first bad word this month. Andy and I were taking her to Deanna Rose and we were talking about something and I said, well isn't that a "SH*# Show" and little girl in the back seat "sheet show". It was pretty funny.
- She loves her milk and still has it every night before she goes to bed. We still rock her down for the most part but about half the nights she'll just point to her crib and say "bed".
- The mornings are my favorite part of the day as she is so happy and talkative. She loves to go downstairs to honey and b's bathroom and put on lipstick to start the day. Oh dear...
- The girl is SUPER sensitive to bugs and will walk outside and be covered immediately. We have been putting bug spray on her constantly but she still seems to get eaten up. She got a bite on her eye lid that made it swell pretty bad and look like her mama back in college.
- She loves her teachers at school and it's going to be so hard to pull her out of there. Every morning on the way to school she'll say "Becky and Erika". I know she's happy there because she will walk in to school by herself, push the open door button and confident enough to go in without me. I love her comfort there, but it also is slightly heartbreaking to think that she doesn't need me anymore...
Despite the craziness of us preparing for the move and Andy being on the road the majority of the month, she was such a doll baby and continued to amaze us. This next month has so many firsts ahead and look forward to sharing all my time with her and trying a new role as a stay at home mom!!!
Yes, high heels and sunnies in the bathroom. She is such a girlie girl!
She loves to talk on the phone and will say "Hallow" "Daddy". With Andy traveling so much I think this is her way of talking to him.
