Ear Infection Times Two!

Monday morning Annabelle slept in until 7:00 and woke up with a face full of snot.  Her second tooth had been coming in the past few days, so figured she was just a little tired from the pain of getting another tooth.  The first tooth didn't affect her too much, so thought this one might be creating her cold-like symptoms.  When I dropped her off at daycare I told them she was a little off, so keep a closer eye on her today.  Low and behold at noon my phone rang and Annabelle had a fever of 100.8.  So I left work and went to go pick her up.  When we got home she seemed even hotter than when we left daycare, so I took her temperature to find it was 103.8.  We went in to the doctor, still thinking they were going to tell me she was teething, and walked out with a double ear infection.  I felt so bad for her and knew she did not feel good.  They had to clean her little ears out, which meant the nurse had to hold her hands and me her legs and she was screaming.  She does not like to be held down :(
Poor baby girl does not feel well.

I love this picture because all she wanted to do was be held and sleep, but since she's so congested she is sleeping with her mouth open and trying to breathe through it.
