We have two teeth now. The bottom two middle ones have come in and are so cute. She loves to have everything in her mouth. I think her favorite thing to chew are our fingers and her little teeth are as sharp as knives. I keep thinking she is going to draw blood, but know it feels so good on them. She is a slobbery mess and continues to spit up. Some days aren't bad while others, she is spitting up everything she took down.
We are in #3 diapers and mostly 9 month clothes. Some 6 months fit her, but find more room in the 9 monthers.
We squeal a lot. No words yet and no real babbles, but a lot of noises. She knows who we are and lights up when she makes eye contact. The best part is coming in the room and having her grin from ear to ear. She is starting to reach for us and LOVES to give kisses now. She attacks my chin and slobbers all over. She will try to give her dad kisses, but only likes to when his face is cleanly shaved.
We started solids and gave her pears last night for the first time and she LOVED them. Woofed them down. She is such a sloppy eater still, but is starting to get the hang of it. We started oatmeal at school during the day and are doing solids at night right when we get home from work. Then we'll feed around 6:30 - 7:00 and be done with meals for the day/night. Annabelle is still sleeping pretty well. She goes down around 8:00-9:00 and sleeps until about 6:00 every morning!
She loves her Baby Einstein jumper and spends a little bit of time in it every morning. It's nice to have a toy that she actually likes and keeps her occupied when we need to get some things done. She is sitting up on her own, but can't hold the stance for too long . We would classify her still as a supported sitter. No signs of crawling or wanting to yet. I think because of having both Andy and I work, we tend to have her in our arms the majority of the time we are with her. And knowing that won't last forver, we want to soak it up while we can.
Here are some of my favs from the month:
