And we are 5 months old! Holy cow has time flown by. We got to celebrate AB's 5 month birthday in Florida, so that was a treat. She is getting bigger by the day and filled with so much personality. The biggest milestone this past month was probably our first tooth. It hasn't quite broke the skin, but you can feel the ridges popping through and see the skin splitting. She's been a little unsettled, but handling it good so far. This month was filled with so much fun! We rolled over both ways and love to be on the go now. I start her on one side of the room and within minutes she's on the other side. We are still spitting up quite a bite. Thought that was going to end, but still find ourselves changing outfits mutlitple times a day (both mom and dad and AB). We are in #3 diapers and 6-9 month clothing. We put away all the 3 and 6 month clothing that didn't fit...tear :(
Not sure what we are weighing in at, as at the 4 month appointment she was 15 lbs. 12 oz. We love to talk...we don't really babble...rather scream in a high pitch tone. I think her first word is going to be Hi. It's a lot of higher pitch tones. We are still strictly on breastmilk and eating 6-7 ounces every three hours during the day. We've started oatmeal that she seems to like more and more, but still haven't got the hang of eating it without resulting in a complete disaster. Now with the tooth I think we should consider starting solids soon. We are going down about 8 every night and waking up anywhere from 5:30-6:00. We still have nights where we wake up and need the paci, but all-in-all, doing a good job staying down through the night.
We are sitting up with help. Still a little wobbly, but likes to be upward rather than on the back or tummy. We put her big swing down in the basement :( Decided she had grown out of it and it was not needed anymore. We still sit in our Little Lamb chair every monring while I get ready for work. Nap schedule is still all over the place, but doesn't seem to bother her. Although you can definitely tell the days she got sleep compared to the days she didn't. Thinking we need to start being more rejemented on the nap times??!?! Or maybe not? Daycare/Sharon/Liz combo is still working great and she seems to adapt to her different environments with no issues. She is just the happiest little girl and melts our hearts. She's our little cuddle bug, AB, stinker, Ms. Annabean.
