Annabelle is two full months and what a joy they have been. I finally feel like we are in a routine, or at least finding some consistencies from day to day. We seem to be eating anywhere from 4:45 am - 6:00, 9:00, 12:00, 3:00, 6:00 and then about 8:30. For the most part, Andy still gives her a bottle (5-6 oz.), that I pump in the morning, for the last feeding. Don't know if it's a mental thing or not, but I think knowing she is getting a full meal is what is helping her sleep through the night.
I still find myself waking up wondering if she is going to wake up, but have definitely felt more rejuvenated the past couple weeks. We still eat around 5:00am, go back to bed and then wake up for the next morning meal. I love this time with Annabelle and am going to have a hard time not having this once I go back to work:( She is still in number 1 diapers, although they are getting a little small and 3 month clothing. I had to put the newborn sizes away at 7 weeks and was boo-hooing as I folded them up...it was like she had grown up so fast already.
The two month appointment was much what I expected - shots and all. She did so good...I hated to see her so upset, but once I picked her up, she was okay...tough little girl already. Our little chunker came in at 12 lbs. 3 oz. At our one month doctor appointment he said that he thought she would be about 11 lbs. at the two month appointment, so our little bean is growing away. He called her the little Gerber Baby. Her height was 22-1/4" long putting her in the 50th percentile for height and 75th for weight. She is smiling, cooing, babbling so much more these days. She is so responsive and loves her changing table. We have also got in the habit of spending time in our crib looking at her mobile. I think I hear "Mary had a Little Lamb" 100 times a day. She is my little errand runner and has taken a liking to walking on the treadmill with me. The motion lulls her to sleep after she grins from ear to ear for the first 15 minutes. We've got some pretty priceless video of her working out! She is becoming more fun every day and is such a love.
Here are some photos of the past couple weeks. Yes, I am a crazy mom who takes multiple pictures a day, but I just can't get enough of her.
