Some of this past month's highlights:
- We are in size 5 diapers
- She is wearing size 18-24 month clothing, some 2T
- Size 7 shoes (really 7.5)
- She has most of her teeth, maybe some molars still to come in, but think they are all in there
- She still loves her paci. We were discussing taking it away from her and starting to wean her off, but Dr. Espe said it will be beneficial for us to keep with all the travel and change we have ahead.
- She loves food, but is still a picky eater. She has expanded her pallet and tried new foods, but sticks to her basics for the most part. She absolutely loves applesauce, yogurt, chicken nuggets, cheese and cheerios. She is a little sneaker and can get into the pantry and will just pull out boxes of food of what she wants.
- She is a climber and will crawl on anything in sight. She has yet to climb out of her crib, although she's pretty flexible and will get one leg up on the railing when she really wants out.
- She goes down at 7:30, some nights a little earlier and will sleep until 7:00. Andy puts her down 90% of the nights and it's their special time. She now is in the habit of only wanting him to put her down and will cry for daddy until he comes and rocks her down. She knows her bedtime routine - bath, book and rock down. She will point to her crib if she is really tired and say "bed", but most of the time will say "rock".
- Her favorite book is "no more monkeys"
- I think the most "surprising" moment this month was when I sneezed and she said "god bless you". I had no idea that she even knew what that was and took me off guard. I told her teacher Ms. Erika when I took her in the next day and she said that they had been working on that. So cute.
Lots to come in this next month and hoping for a smooth transition!!
