17 months old

Monday Ms.Annabelle turned 17 months old.  I think this past month flew by the fastest of them all.  Fortunately Monday was Memorial Day, so we were able to be at home and hang out with her.  We actually spent most of the day outside and was able to use my camera and get some shots of her!

Month Highlights:
She is going down about 7:30 every night, although we have had a handful of harder nights getting her down.  She will sleep until anywhere between 6:30 and 7:00.  Her naps during the day vary between an hour to two hours.  I wish she slept more, but being at school, it's difficult with the other kids and think it's just part of their routines.  She is going through a phase where she only wants Andy to put her to bed.  She will cry daddy, daddy until he comes and rocks her down.  It's pretty sweet that she wants him and know he loves that time with her.

She is still such a picky eater.  We keep trying new foods...and she keeps spitting them out.  She knows before we even put it on her tray that she doesn't like, or so she thinks, and will purse her lips and make spitting noises.  I am determined to get her to try new things, although dinner times can be slightly frustrating.

She is in 18 month - 2T clothing.  I love that the weather is nice and she gets to wear shorts and tanks most days because you can see her little rolls.

She has officially moved rooms at school and is staying in Toddler 1B.  Her teacher recommended that she stays in the bigger kids room because she said she is very smart for her age :)  I had a proud mom moment.  When I picked her up last week Ms. Mia said that her vocabulary was further than most kids her age and that she knows what she wants and does a good job of showing what she wants.  They teach them to pray in her new room and her teacher said that she is doing a good job of clasping her hands together during prayer time.  I can't wait to see it one day...the thought is so sweet and innocent.

She loves to be outside and would stay out there all day and night.  She loves to take walks, chalk and climb on her slide.  She continues to amaze us and keep us on our toes.  There's never a dull moment with her.

Can't wait for lots of pool time this upcoming month and to see what new things she learns.
